French-Twist Braid

Hello friends,

Today I wanted to make a French braid but with a different twist...literally.  As I braided my hair, I would pick up a small section of hair and twist it tightly between my fingers before adding it into my French braid.  I love the defined look that this hairstyle has.  And instead of leaving my braid long at full-length, I wrapped it up and clipped the end in place with a few tiny hairclips.  This kept my braid out of my way, plus helped it to look neat and in place all day long.
Thank you for following my posts!  I love sharing hair pictures with my friends around the world, here on  my blog and on Facebook.

French Butterfly Updo~ my last hairstyle for 2015

Hello my friends,

Just a few hours left to post my pictures from today and my last hairstyle for this year.  This morning I shared pictures of my French braid in Paris on my Facebook page, and was inspired to do the same type of hair'do today.  How fun to find my butterfly clip that happened to match my butterfly top :-)
I hope you have a wonderful year, and I am looking forward to finding out what 2016 has in store.

Braided Ponytail

Merry Christmas Eve, my friends!

I hope that you are having a beautiful day.  Here are some pictures from a few days ago when I fixed my hair in a braided ponytail hairstyle.  I like being able to wear my hair in shorter ponytail hairstyles like this one, you have the feel of wearing your hair "down" but not at its full length.

French Rope Updo~ my look for today

Hi everyone,

The sky was rather overcast this morning, but still a great day for taking hair pictures :-)  I washed my hair last night but first I used my new monoi oil from Tahiti instead of my coconut oil.  I'm so thankful to my sweet friend in Holland for suggesting I try monoi oil!  It is amazing and smells absolutely wonderful.  I also used an apple cider vinegar rinse~ a great way to clean your hair and make it extra-soft every few months or so.
By the way, a friend asked where I get my small hair clips.  Usually I find them at Ross stores when I'm traveling in the US, and in Europe I found them in other stores as well.  I love using small clips as apposed to bobby pins, they seem to hold my hair much better and don't tug or hurt as the day goes on.
Thank you for visiting my blog!  And remember to check out my new Facebook page when you get a chance.  Have a beautiful day and I hope to see you again soon <3
