Double-lace braids & bun

Hi everyone,

Today I tried a look I've seen on Pinterest, double-lace braids with a braided bun. I sectioned off my hair, then braided the inside section first and the side closer to my face next. Thank you for following my page! I'm working on a post with pictures of my day-trip to Paris when I was traveling in the UK and Europe a few weeks ago. You may be able to guess how I fixed my hair that day...I was going to France, after all :-)

Fountain Bun

I tried something a little bit different, trying to copy a look I had seen on Facebook by Cute & Glossy Braids. (She does such amazing hairstyles on her beautiful daughters!)

First I made the small lace braid, then I put my hair in a bun, but kept out a small section of hair to use as an accent. I wrapped it around my bun, right behind my headband braid, then arranged the end of my smooth accent section by pinning it in different places with bobby pins. The result reminded me of a fountain :-)

Hi everybody,

I'm back home again after a wonderful and amazing trip! I got to see many places and sights that I never dreamed I would get to see with my own eyes. I'll have to share random pictures with you over the next few weeks and months :-) My hair was understandably in need of a wash after such a long journey home, so this morning I put coconut oil on it then washed it (with my C-W-C method). It felt so good to have clean hair again! I braided my hair in a simple English braid while it was still wet, then put it up in a low bun using hair clips that I got on my trip. These particular ones came from a little shop in St. Andrews, Scotland.

Hello friends,

I am still away from home, so my posts are obviously a bit more sporadic than usual :-) The Redhead Days were such fun, I loved getting to meet new friends and spend time with other friends that I rarely get to see in person since I live so far away. I am already looking forward to Redhead Days 2016 ;-)
